Dubai Ruler highlights UAE’s willingness to strengthen partnerships in various fields
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, met His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 2022 World Government Summit which will is held at Expo 2020 Dubai. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and the accompanying delegation in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations in light of their shared vision on a range of regional and global issues.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed the UAE’s willingness to strengthen partnerships in various fields, including culture and economy, to promote the mutual strategic interests of the two nations.
The meeting also explored new avenues to boost trade between the UAE and Brunei Darussalam and strengthen partnership between the two countries’ private sectors in tourism, financial services, agriculture and others. sectors.
The Ruler of Dubai and Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah also discussed the key objectives of the World Government Summit 2022, which aims to shape a better future for people by meeting the vital demands of development and exploring various solutions to improve the work of government. .
