Dubai – 55,000 customers took part in the survey to assess the digital and smart services of 30 government agencies.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, on Friday announced the UAE’s top five and last five government agencies, based on his directive earlier this year to evaluate the digital and intelligent services offered by the ministries and departments of the federal government.
After a survey of 30 government entities based on a survey of 55,000 respondents, the results are in. The survey was conducted over a three-month period – focusing on the performance of the 30 government departments that provide more than 1,300 services through 58 chains nationwide.

Taking to Twitter to announce the results of the investigation, Sheikh Mohammed said poorly performing government agencies have 90 days to take corrective action and improve their performance. After which they will be reassessed, which will determine the next course of action.
Announcing the 2021 survey earlier this year, Sheikh Mohammed had stressed that providing the world’s best services is a top priority and the focus of the government’s work in the UAE.
He said the main goal was to deliver government services through digital channels.
âWithin three months, we will assess the success of government agencies in delivering integrated digital services that reach customers anywhere, anytime.
âSuch services should allow them to carry out their transactions easily, quickly and efficiently. “

He said that continuous evaluation of government services is not an administrative or routine procedure, but a “constructive approach to celebrate excellence” and improvement.
Over 1,300 digital services offered by federal government entities have been evaluated.
It covered customer opinions on services and their satisfaction levels.
The assessment focuses on the client’s experience in accessing and obtaining government services through digital channels; the number of steps involved; ease of payment of fees; the accuracy of the services offered; and speed of execution.
Name the best and the worst
This is the second time that the UAE’s government centers would be evaluated, and the best and worst nominated.
In September 2019, Sheikh Mohammed announced the five best and worst service centers in the UAE.
Fujairah’s Federal Identity and Citizenship Authority was rated the best and Sharjah’s Emirates Post the worst.
