Taking to Twitter to announce the results of the investigation, Sheikh Mohammed said poorly performing government agencies have 90 days to take corrective action and improve their performance. After which they will be reassessed, which will determine the next course of action.

Announcing the 2021 survey earlier this year, Sheikh Mohammed had stressed that providing the world’s best services is a top priority and the focus of the government’s work in the UAE.

He said the main goal was to deliver government services through digital channels.

“Within three months, we will assess the success of government agencies in delivering integrated digital services that reach customers anywhere, anytime.

“Such services should allow them to carry out their transactions easily, quickly and efficiently. “

He said that continuous evaluation of government services is not an administrative or routine procedure, but a “constructive approach to celebrate excellence” and improvement.

Assessment process

Over 1,300 digital services offered by federal government entities have been evaluated.

It covered customer opinions on services and their satisfaction levels.

The assessment focuses on the client’s experience in accessing and obtaining government services through digital channels; the number of steps involved; ease of payment of fees; the accuracy of the services offered; and speed of execution.

Name the best and the worst

This is the second time that the UAE’s government centers would be evaluated, and the best and worst nominated.

In September 2019, Sheikh Mohammed announced the five best and worst service centers in the UAE.

Fujairah’s Federal Identity and Citizenship Authority was rated the best and Sharjah’s Emirates Post the worst.
