The UAE expressed its sincere condolences and solidarity with the Republic of Cuba for the victims of a hotel explosion in the center of the capital, Havana, which left people dead and injured.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Cuba, as well as to the families and loved ones of the victims, while wishing all the injured a speedy recovery.

UAE condemns terrorist attack on base of African Union Mission in Somalia

The UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted an African Union Transitional Mission base in the Middle Shabelle region, southwest of the Somali capital Mogadishu, which killed and injured among the personnel of the peacekeeping mission of the Republic of Burundi.

In a statement, MoFAIC affirmed the UAE’s strong condemnation of these criminal acts and its consistent rejection of all forms of violence and
terrorism aimed at destabilizing security and stability, in violation of humanitarian values ​​and principles.

The ministry affirmed its full solidarity with the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia, to ensure security and stability in the country.

Furthermore, the Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the Republic of Burundi as well as to the families of the victims of this heinous crime, while wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
