Anyone planning a trip to Ajman this summer can take advantage of the emirate’s new summer campaign.

The Ajman, Your Joyful Summer Staycation promotion has launched in the smallest emirate of the United Arab Emirates.

Running until September, it offers visitors the chance to get unique discounts and special offers at hotels across the city. This is the second year that the campaign, organized by the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD), has taken place.

Known for its tranquil beaches and surrounded by natural sights, Ajman is a popular place to stay in the United Arab Emirates.

Commenting on the new campaign which has been designed to encourage more visitors to explore the emirate, Saleh Mohamed Al Gezer, Managing Director of ATDD, highlighted the importance of domestic tourism in supporting the economic growth of the emirate.

Radisson Blu Hotel Ajman

There are plenty of discounts at Radisson Blu Hotel Ajman with 20% off room rates, spa services, and food and beverage outlets.

Al Zorah Nature Reserve

Located in the north of the emirate, Al Zorah Nature Reserve comprises one million square meters of natural mangrove forest, blue lagoons and sandy beaches.

It is a bird and sea life paradise with over 50 species for bird watchers including flamingos, egrets and herons. Free entry, the best way to explore the mangroves is by kayak, and the calm waters and network of canals make it suitable for even novice paddlers.

Water bounce

Cool off by visiting Aqua Bounce located at the Fairmont Ajman. This brightly colored inflatable park floats on the ocean and challenges users to tackle its slides, rides, obstacles and more without diving into the sea. Eat local

For a taste of Emirati cuisine, head to Qdeemk Ndeemk Cafe. Located on the Corniche, opposite the Fairmont Ajman, the menu offers Emirati breakfasts such as khameer flatbread with date syrup and balaleet (sweet vermicelli and egg omelette), and the prices are very reasonable.

Al Tallah Camel Racecourse

Visit the Al Tallah Camel Racecourse on the outskirts of Ajman to see an age-old sport in play. Remote-controlled robotic jockeys perch on these desert vessels as they race through the sand, usually accompanied by their driving owners alongside the camels in a honking 4×4.

Races usually take place in the early morning throughout the season which runs from October to March, but if you just want to see the camels practice, you can usually spot them early in the morning at any time of the year. year.
