Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, today honored the recipients of the Dubai Government Excellence Awards.

Sheikh Mohammed praised Dubai government employees, officials and partners for successfully overcoming the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic after defining a global model for crisis management.
âYou have succeeded in achieving a health-economy balance in Dubai. The government of Dubai led by the two, Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikh Maktoum, has overcome the crisis. The best is yet to come. And what awaits us will always be greater, âsaid Sheikh Mohammed.
âInnovation within the government sector will play a crucial role in the future. The UAE and Dubai have indeed spearheaded creativity and excellence, and although we have come a long way , we must continue to innovate new approaches to further positively transform the way government works, âsaid Sheikh Mohammed.

Sheikh Mohammed awarded the distinguished innovators of the government of Dubai based on the results of the evaluation cycle of the program of excellence of the government of Dubai in various categories at the institutional and functional levels, in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Governor of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and the executive leadership of participating government entities.
Sheikh Mohammed congratulated the DGEP award winners and praised their efforts to set an example of excellence in their fields and urged them to continue supporting their colleagues in enhancing their performance and capacity.
