Talented Emiratis working in government departments are invited to become “futurists” through the Dubai Future Experts Programme. Applications for the third cohort of the program are now open.

It will start in September 2022 and will consist of two modules lasting six months each. Participants will have the opportunity to move from “future analyst” to “future practitioner”.

Registration for the new batch is open until July 15.

The program aims to empower and equip a network of talented Emirati futurists in the government sector with the tools and skills to design and create a “bright future for Dubai and the UAE”.

“Through the Dubai Future Experts program, we continue to invest in great minds, developing experts and futurists across all government entities. These futurists will take responsibility for advancing Dubai’s strategic sectors,” said Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of the Dubai Future Foundation.

“The program targets talented nationals who will be empowered and equipped with the tools and knowledge of foresight and forward thinking, not only to elevate the Government of Dubai‘s model of excellence, but also to transform it into a global model of excellence. ‘Excellency. Dubai’s vision is to be the leading city of the future, and that requires radical change and bold decisions.

The modules and content of the program have been developed by leading national and global future experts, scientists, entrepreneurs and CEOs.

During its previous batches, the program has empowered new generations of futurists across the Dubai government. This has allowed them to be part of the government’s development process and efforts to improve Dubai’s ranking among the most forward-looking cities in the world.
