Safir to manage a hotel in the El Centro complex in Cairo

Safir Hotels & Resorts (SHR) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Empire State Developments to manage and operate hotel rooms and suites within the El Centro Business Complex project in the new administrative capital of Cairo.

The contract was signed by Eng Mahmoud ElSarrag, Chairman of the Board of Empire State Developments, and Eng Fawzi Khalifa Al-Musallam, CEO of Safir Hotels & Resorts, at Empire State Company Headquarters, in the presence of Eng Mostafa Mohsen. and Eng Amr Abadi, members of the Empire State Company board of directors, and Hussein Shoukry, regional general manager of SHR operations in Egypt; Eng Mohamed Sharaki, General Manager of Engineering of SHR; and Ahmed Seleit, director of business development for SHR.

This contract is the first step in the cooperation between the two companies, starting with Safir’s management of the El Centro Business Complex project. The El Centro project is located on an area of ​​24,000 m² and consists of 15 floors. The multi-purpose complex will house a shopping center, medical clinics, administrative floors, and hotel rooms and suites.

The project will be designed and built according to the latest international standards and technologies, with a capacity of 100 rooms and suites with spacious spaces and designs in the Andalusian architectural style. It will come to life for its guests thanks to the warm Arab hospitality that distinguishes Safir Hotels & Resorts. The hotel also includes a cluster of distinguished international restaurants, meeting and banquet facilities, and entertainment spaces, and is scheduled to open in 2024.

The new hotel is seen as the first investment that will bring the Safir brand to the new administrative capital of Cairo.
