Kuwait’s government tendered its resignation on Sunday, the state news agency (KUNA) reported, following legislative elections in the Gulf state.

KUNA reported that Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Sabah, who took over most of the duties of the ruling Emir late last year, received Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf’s letter of resignation al-Sabah.
