Emirates news agency – Ajman’s DoF to facilitate payment of government fees through 12 banks

AJMAN, Dec. 14, 2021 (WAM) – Ajman’s Ministry of Finance has signed agreements with 12 local banks to offer an “easy payment plan,” which allows installment payments for government service charges through the “Ajman Pay” platform. when paid with credit cards from these banks.

Participating banks include First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Dubai Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, RAK Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Ajman Bank, Mashreq Bank, Sharjah Islamic Bank, Al Hilal Bank and Emirates Bank Islamic.

Thanks to this initiative, Ajman’s government clients will be able to pay their service charges in installments, according to the terms and conditions applicable in these banks regarding interest rates, payment periods and minimum payment.

Commenting on this, Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of Ajman’s Ministry of Finance, said: “Through this cooperation with a number of major banks in the United Arab Emirates, we are seeking to achieve what government clients aspire to. Ajman, namely obtaining greater financial flexibility and ease in paying the cost of government services in the emirate. By providing ease and convenience to various customer segments, we remain true to our commitment to deliver government services at the highest levels of quality and efficiency. ”

The conditions and steps for requesting an easy payment plan are defined by the participating banks. If customers are eligible for this plan, they can start paying their fees and convert them into monthly installments. Customers can benefit from this facility once they have entered their credit card details through the intelligent and electronic channels of “Ajman Pay”, or by contacting the customer service centers of these banks.
