Dubai has unified all government health insurance schemes under one umbrella called “Enaya”.
This decision covers all government insurance plans, including Saada. With this, there will be one insurance for all Dubai government employees.
Beneficiaries of Enaya include citizens of Dubai who do not have any other government insurance; and Dubai government service employees and their families.
Dependency within Dubai Government Employee Health Insurance Scheme includes:
· For Emiratis: Wives; son up to 24 years old; girls until they marry or work; and the parents.
· For expatriates: wife and three children under 21 years old.
The unification of all health insurance systems aims to provide “advanced integrated care and high quality medical services”.
Enaya has two service providers: Neuron Insurance and Almadallah Healthcare Management.
Multiple benefits include full maternity coverage. The program provides health care to pregnant women and their children from the beginning of the pregnancy period until after birth. Unlike other insurance programs, there is no waiting period for this right. Other benefits:
· Current medical conditions and chronic illnesses.
· Disease prevention.
· Full coverage of periodic routine examinations and vaccinations.
