ADAA becomes the first government entity to migrate its data center to G42 Cloud

ABU DHABI – The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) has become the first government entity to move its data center to the G42 Cloud and extend its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities across its operations digital.

The move is in line with the emirate’s leadership guidelines aimed at achieving the highest levels of integrity and continuously improving governance best practices.

In moving to G42 Cloud, the Authority has partnered with G42, an Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence and cloud computing company.

As part of this partnership, the Authority will use advanced cloud computing and artificial intelligence to support the implementation of governance best practices and introduce new surveillance technologies, as the G42 cloud will enable applications to authority to be integrated with G42 AI tools, which will enhance the Abu Dhabi experience. competitiveness in global governance indices.

“This change is in line with our government’s mandate for digital transformation, which reflects our leadership’s foresight in mapping the future of the government sector to anticipate and successfully address global challenges that require change. We are empowered to implement digital systems and protocols, in accordance with the best international standards,” explained Haifa Al Blooshi, Director of Information Technology at the ADAA.

This transformation is designed to improve organizational performance and reduce financial and operational costs by adopting cloud technology, while promoting IT infrastructure maintenance and operational savings. It will also lead to improved operational flexibility, allowing the Authority to extend its service without limitation to the availability of equipment, and it will also promote information security and support the development of national frameworks in the field of cloud computing.

The agreement also supports a rapid digital transformation across Abu Dhabi Government and enables the Authority to achieve its new strategic objectives of improving the protection of public funds, elevating the principles of accountability and integrity and optimal operational efficiency.

The ADAA’s approach to digital transformation further expands its strategy to ensure business continuity and showcases the Authority’s willingness to lead change to ensure a safer and more prosperous future.
